McCrory Electric Company Inc. is a family owned Electrical contracting firm that has been in business for 110 years. Our Founder, Claud O. McCrory Sr., started the firm in 1910 as one of the earliest electrical contractors in this area. Under his capable guidance, the firm prospered and grew strong on a combination of skilled work and customer satisfaction.
As the business thrived, our family grew, and in 1952 he formed a partnership with his two sons, C.O. (Whitey) McCrory Jr. and James E. McCrory. The firm continued to prosper and in 1991 incorporated in the State of Tennessee.
Roadway Lighting and Traffic Signalization
We have been installing traffic signals, roadway lighting and outdoor lighting for over 50 years. Some of our many customers include City of Memphis, Shelby County TN, Tennessee Department of Transportation and Mississippi Department of Transportation.
Commercial and Industrial Construction
We have been involved in plant automation since the early 1950’s. Our staff can provide installation and calibration for Automated Systems, DCS systems, as well as Building or Campus Electrical and Data Systems. In each case, we stand behind our designs, fabrication and installation with our extraordinary warranty.
McCrory Electric Company is well established in the Voice, Data and Video Markets. We have installed Fiber, Copper and Wireless Infrastructure at several large facilities around the country. Certifications include: BiCsi RCDD, Corning Cabling Systems Network of Preferred Installers and Belden Certified System Vendor.
McCrory Electric Co. Inc is committed to safety and the well being of our employees. We have incorporated a proactive approach to Safety. All of our employees receive initial safety orientation and periodic safety meetings are conducted as a refresher and to identify new safety issues or concerns. We have employees trained in NFPE70E Arc Flash Hazards and OSHA 10 as well as emergency first aid.
